Bohemian Girl

Sill Scarf: Vintage,Top: New York and Company, Jeans: Macys, Feather Necklace: F-21, Handbag: Los Angeles Fashion District, Bracelet: H&M, Wedges: Burlington Coat Factory

The Bohemian look is one I love.  Easy, breezy and comfortable. I am wearing a vintage silk scarf and my favorite hoop earrings. Sorry for the blurry picture, I am still getting the hang of my camera.
I love this purple feather necklace! So Fun!
I got this ring at F-21. I love the color and detail on it
I loved the unusual shape and gold details on this wood bracelet I got from H&M. I absolutely love H&M!
This gold and bronze bag was quite a find at the Los Angeles Fashion District
These wedges are so comfortbale. I was lusting after a nude pair and the only one left was this purple pair, but I still like them:-)

This reflective look is real. I have a poem in my head.  Thats the flow part of me....the poet.  I will post some if you promise to read them and not skip past it to look at the photos:-)

My son insisted I posr this photo.  My baby is my shadow and we are tight like peas and carrots
A smile costs nothing and it transcends all language barriers.

This glow.....I am trying to show you what I look like on the inside

Tarragon Chicken Salad Croissant

It is a hot day in Sunny Southern California. On hot days, the last thing I want to do is slave over a hot stove in the kitchen. This delicious chicken salad sandwich is filling, quick and delicious.  The Tarragon adds a great flavor and the relish adds a hint of sweetness and the celery adds a bit of crunch.  All of tese ingredients spell: DELICIOUS! What I love about making this chicken salad is that if you are pressed for time or simply don't feel like baking the chicken breasts, you can get a fully cooked rotisserie chicken from the grocery store and achieve the same delicious results,  When I am pressed for time, I simply use a rotisserie chicken to make this yummy chicken salad.

Tarragon Chicken Salad

3 Boneless chicken breast halves cooked, cooled and chopped
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup chopped green onion
1/4 cup sweet pickle relish
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon celery salt
1 teaspoon tarragon

Directions:

In a medium bowl mix mayonaisse, celery salt and tarragon together. Add chicken, celery, green onion and relish and toss together until well combined.  You can make adjustments by adding slightly more mayonnaise if the mixture is too dry. Split croissants in half and spread with chicken Salad.

Have a delicious day!

Pink and Gray on a Cloudy Day

Rose Pink Top: F-21, Gray Slacks: Bergdof Goodman, Floral T-Strap Pumps: F-21
C.uff Bracelet, Love Culture, Blue Clutch:Flea Market, Ring: Random Boutique

I love the detail on these shoes

Monday is my least favorite day of the week.  Add cumulous c louds, the threat of rain and it makes me want to hibernate.  This pink and gray ensemble and floral T-Strap shoes make me feel the lightness of spring even on a dark cloudy day.  I spent a few moments at the playground! My son isn't the only one that gets to play!

Watching You...

Eyes are the window to the soul...

Happy Monday Beautiful Ones!

Peep This!

This post is in celebration of the ubitiquous Marshmallow peep. These ooey gooey treats usually show up around Easter.  I have not had one of these in years, but when you are a mom they always seem to find there way into the house because children love them.  I was pleasantly surprised when I bit into one of these because I was expecting to not like  it. This is not something I will eat on a regular basis, but it is just perfect every once in a while. I thought it would be fun to show you some cute and clever ways to incorporate these sugary confections into your Easter celenbrations. I hope you enjoy the photos:-) I had such fun putting these ideas together to show you!

Try serving deviled eggs on a bed of Marshmallow Peeps!

Or serve them on a platter surrounded by peeps

Line a vase with peeps and add flowers. I arranged these beautiful orange Gerberas and various white blooms.

I couldn't resist creating a second arrangement with these vibrant yellow Mums

Peeps and Coffee? Yes, i went there...

This is what my coffee looked like before the peep melted into an ocean of sweet creamy chocolate goodness.

I hope I gave you some great Easter inspiration. Have an amazing Easter!
