Seasons Change...

Hi Lovelies! I have been so incredibly busy and even though it is still quite warm, there is a hint of crispness in the air.  The arrival of fall.  A change of seasons.  Life has seasons too.  They change and ebb and flow like the ocean.  Sometimes it is winter in your life and everything is lying dormant or spring time and the seeds you planted are blooming. Regardless of the season, be thankful and celebrate where you are. Without a winter or fall, there couldn't be a spring.

Today, I decided to wear some layers that were light, but great for fall. The colors are soft but vibrant in their own way.  Here is to new seasons...

Arm Candy

Hi Beautiful Ones! My posting has been a bit sporadic, but I will get back on track soon. Life has been hectic. Sometimes you can have the best intentions and then life happens.  By now, must of you know that I love love love jewelry! I am wearing some vibrant arm candy with a simple black T-Shirt.  A plain T-Shirt is simple and can be dressed up in so many different ways. I am wearing lots of vibrant bangles on each arm. The more the merrier:-)

I will be giving you a peek into my diary soon. I am a poet and have been journaling and writing poetry since I was eleven years old.  When I write poetry, it is very much like letting you read a page from my diary. I will be posting some poetic flow soon. I have been busy with a pen and a pad chronicling my life through poetry.  This is what I do when I am happy, pissed off, irritated, moved and every other emotion there is. My friends used to joke about not pissing me off because I would be at a poetry slam performing a piece about it...LOL

I am going to stop teasing you all and post something soon...I promise

Zebra!

 Hello beautiful ones! I am highlighting my shoes because they are the favorite part of what I am wearing today. Sometimes it is the shoes that make the ensemble. Feeling a little blah today and have lots of stuff going on, so life has been a little hectic. How is your week so far? These zebra print shoes are a true display of my love of all kinds of animal prints. I never get tired of them and animal print is a sassy and timeless look. Do you love animal print too?

Orange!

 

Happy Wednesday! Summer might be over, but it is HOT HOT HOT! I am wearing orange and feeling happy! There are some colors that just make you happy and orange is one of mine:-) I paired my bold orange dress with neutral accessories and love the result:-) It is 104 degrees and since it looks like this heatwave will continue for a while, it might be a minute before you see me wearing pea coats and scarves. I haven't posted any poetry in a while, but I have been writing and will share some good stuff with you soon. And when I do, please read it! I know its tempting to just look at the photos, but I promise you my writing will make you feel something...stay tuned 

And as the weather cools, I will get back to cooking and baking more and posting my delectable recipes too! This heat makes me want to stay out of the kitchen even though I love cooking.

 There is nothing like a waterfall on a hot day. I actually got in this water, but I spared you those photos...LOL
