Greystone Mansion Beverly Hills

I am rich. It doesn't have a thing to do with money. Being rich is a state of mind and I have a sky mentality because that's where I plan to leave my footprint.  I think rich experiences make life taste like dessert on a gold plate with a platinum fork. I live every day like its my birthday.  I love beautiful places and positive people. If you are a well wisher and genuine, we can be friends:-)
I expose my son to all that life has to offer and let him look through my rainbow colored glasses and drink from my cup that overflows with infinite possibilities. it is never to early to teach a child the importance of big dreams. I recently had an opportunity to spend the day at the Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills.  I don't turn down opportunities to be in amazing settings and what a splendid time I had!
There are lots of photos because the scenery and this type of beauty needs to be documented. I hope you enjoy the photos. What are some of your favorite scenic spots?

Every where my foot treads...

Anywhere worth going usually requires a climb

Everything is within your reach, but sometimes you
have to just go get it

Sometimes I strut like there's music playing

What the world needs now and can never have enough of is love, sweet love.

Sometimes you don't know the path until you start walking

I love a pretty maxi dress and they are so comfortable. A blog buddy of mine Fashion  du Jour  said that the maxi dress is like the swiss army knife of  fashion. I could not agree more:-) Do you like maxi dresses?

Pretty shiny and sparkly. I love these bracelets! Nothing like a little sparkle. Do you agree?

I just want to spread my wings

I absolutely love these earrings by Mimi Boutique. Gorgeous and so versatile I can wear them with a variety of ensembles.
Dress: System Boutique, Shoes: Private Boutique, Earrings: Gifted by Mimi Boutique, Bracelets: Los Angeles Fashion District

Even with my sunglasses on, the sun is still shining boldly and brightly. You and I are like that too. When you bring light, people can try, but they cant put a shade over you. You will still shine.

You might get tired, but God will renew your strength

There is something good around the corner. I feel it...

Have an amazing day!

Frrrozen Hot Chocolate

If you have never tried frozen hot chocolate, you are surely missing out.  This frozen confection will make your days taste a whole lot sweeter and cool you off in the heat of summer. Chocolate, lots of whipped cream and more chocolate. Whats not to love? This recipe is from the dessert shop Serendipity in New York and if you live in New York and haven't tried this treat, it is worth a visit. And for those of us on the West Coast, we can enjoy this decadent treat and watch palm trees sway in our neck of the woods:-)

Ingredients

  • 6 half-ounce pieces of a variety of your favorite chocolates
  • 2 teaspoons store bought hot chocolate mix
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 3 cups ice
  • Whipped cream
  • Chocolate shavings
 Directions

Chop the chocolate into small pieces and place it in the top of a double boiler over simmering water, stirring occasionally until melted. Add the cocoa and sugar, stirring constantly until thoroughly blended. Remove from heat and slowly add 1/2 cup of the milk and stir until smooth. Cool to room temperature.

In a blender place the remaining cup of milk, the room temperature chocolate mixture, and the ice. Blend on high speed until smooth and the consistency of a frozen daiquiri. Pour into a giant goblet and top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings. Enjoy with a spoon or a straw. . . .or both!

I love sweet treats and this delicious treat is a sweet escape. Welcome to my queendom:-)

Bon Appetit!
