Bolero+Pink and Black



Helllo Beautiful Ones! I hope you had a fantastic weekend! I went to a really nice event this past weekend. It was a luncheon to honor high achieving high school students. I am always so thrilled to be a part of anything that encourages excellence and recognizing those that put their best foot forward. I want to thank all of you for the positive feedback on my poetry. There is more coming:-)

Today, I am wearing pink and black, which is a color combination I love. I am also wearing a bolero jacket that I designed myself over ten years ago.  I am no fashion designer, but I know what I like. I actually sketched this design on a piece of paper and took it to a seamstress and had her make it for me. You don't want to know how crazy my sketch looked since I am definitely not a person who can draw...LOL Even with my chicken scratch sketch, the seamstress thought I had a pretty solid design and she was able to help me bring my vision to life. I am quite thrilled at the way it turned out. When people ask me where I got it, I am always flattered and of course I tell them I designed it myself:-) 

 I thought the double lapel was a unique touch
 If you stay ready, you don't have to get ready. Stay ready...for anything
