Skirt as a Dress

Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend! It has been so warm lately and I have really been enjoying this wave of sunshine, which feels very much like the beginning of spring. With the economy the way that it is, I find myself shopping my own closet or scouring thrift stores for great finds. I would much rather make sure my son has everything even if that means I do more thrifting for myself. Just a reminder that there is still time to enter the giveaway for the Gabriel studded handbag. Today I am wearing a vintage denim jacket I scored from a thirft shop and a skirt that I have had a long time and have never worn. When I put it on, I wasn't sure how I felt about it, so I refashioned my skirt into a strapless dress and I think I prefer it this way. What do you think? I am not sure I love this, but I don't think it was a complete fail (LOL)

Green+Black = Leopard

Happy Wednesday! I hope your week is off to an awesome start! I decided to pull something out of my closet that hadn't seen the light of day in a long time. Do you ever have things you forget about because you can't see them? I seriously think I need a guest bedroom as my closet, LOL! Although today is a bit warm, I am wearing a duster that I love paired with a bold green shirt. I decided to accent with a hint of purple and animal print.

I love lace up boots. They are definitely not for everybody, but I have quite a few different types of lace up boots. Lace ups have a very vintage look and feel that I love.

Mimi Boutique! Jolt My Style (Orange and Tan)

I had so much fun working on this project and wanted to share it with you. I thought that a bold orange would be the perfect complement for this handbag. If you have been following my blog for a while, you know how much I love orange and basically any other bold color.
