Black White and Leopard

Hey loves! This is a quick post with the classic combo of black and white. I added my animal print clutch for more color and texture. I tend to remix and wear what I have in my closet, rather than shopping all the time. Don't get me wrong, I love shopping, but I have a pretty big wardrobe and like to get as much mileage out of it as I can.

Blazer: Macys, T-Shirt H&M, White pants, boutique, Clutch: Ebay, Photography: Stacey Gutierrez

If you have been following my blog for awhile, you know I love wearing double cuffs

I love the long line cut of this blazer and it pairs well with anything.

These were one of my favorite summer shoes, but I had to throw them a way because the heel on one of them cracked. Don't you hate when you have to trash a cute pair of shoes?

So what have you been up to?

Bloom

I never met a flower I didn't like. I love all types of flowers and frequently have fresh bouquets around the house. God thinks a lot about flowers too. He values them so much that there are over a million species of flowers in the world. Each flower is unique, colorful and beautiful. Just like those stunning flowers that God created, you are beautiful too. There is something unique and beautiful about you and no one else has it. I think if more of us realized that we are unique creations, we would stop focusing on the flower blooming next to us.  Be the light that you want to see in others and remember that embracing another woman's beauty and positive attributes does not diminish your own.

I adore roses, but I have a special spot for french tulips. Have you ever noticed that they tend to droop a little bit when you put them in a vase? French Tulips lean towards the sun, which is the reason they lean over in a vase. They are looking for the light...

Guess what? Somebody is looking for you? Because if your heart is pure and right, then you are light and we need more of that in this world

Rare

Colorful

Vibrant

You

There are some flowers that go through a different process and those flowers are among the most awe inspiring, but those flowers are the way they are because they started as a small seed that had to grown during rough, unpredictable and inclement conditions. As a matter of fact, it emerged from somewhere no one expected and that is the most amazing part.
You are an amazing creation. It doesn't matter if you are a Rose, Tulip, Peony, Tiger Lily, Anthurium, Sunflower, or a Hydrangea, YOU are beautiful, just remember to smile and celebrate the flower next to you instead of competing with it. (you can enjoy a similar post by clicking here)

And now its time for you to do what you do best...BLOOM

Kaleidoscope

I love color. Bold, vibrant color. Life is meant to be lived in color too.

This vibrant one shoulder top with this large flowy sleeve always makes me feel like a butterfly when I wear it. Lately, some of the people around me say that I remind them of a butterfly breaking out of a cocoon. Full of vibrant color. What a great compliment:-)

Love the promise of new things. My feet tread where ever God leads me

There is no greater source of Joy

The inside radiates to the outside

This vibrant cobalt belt is actually a scarf from my scarf collection. I liked it much better than the belt that came with this top. The blue is vibrant and unexpected and it you are not paying attention, you can miss it. Life is like that also. So many great intricate lessons and gifts if you pay attention.

Love and embrace every color of the rainbow

The more I ponder life, the more I realize that everything that stretches us and makes us great is beyond our comfort zone

To move forward requires only one step

And you must do one thing...

Go get it

Lyfe Kitchen (LV's LA)

When some of us think of healthy eating, we imagine rabbit food. A carrot here, a piece of celery there, boring iceberg lettuce everywhere, but there are some eating establishments that make eating healthy exciting, delicious and colorful. Lyfe Kitchen is one of those places. I am known to eat my fair share of scrumptious junk food, but I enjoy eating healthy foods that actually taste good. The roasted salmon on the photo above is one of many delicious dishes I have enjoyed on my many visits to Lyfe Kitchen.

Many of the dishes available are great for sharing so It is always a good idea to come here with a lunch companion so that you can try more items on the menu.

Eat good, feel good, do good. Yes! I will

This cute display of fresh herbs reinforces the restaurants light, modern and airy decor

Perfect spot to grab a healthy meal that will be good to you and good for you

These delicious roasted artichokes with lemon Aioli are a great starter
The corn chowder is among the most delicious I have every had an is another great way to start your meal

This Kale Caesar is healthy, fresh and flavorful and you can add chicken to make it more filling. Who knew that a  heaping mound of romaine, baby kale, cherry tomatoes and broccoli could be so good. Go ahead, eat your veggies...it's good for you

The Barbecue chicken flatbread with one of the many tasty salads, makes a delicious and satisfying meal. The grilled chicken, sweet corn, caramelized onion, cilantro and barbecue sauce will definitely tickle your taste buds

The farmers market salad has that perfect mix of sweet and savory with arugula, blackberries, pickled onions, spiced pecans, goat cheese and balsamic vinaigrette and yes, it does taste as good as it looks. Who can resist the sweet burst of fresh blackberries, the crunch of pecans and goat cheese. Absolutely perfection.

The fish tacos is one of my favorite dishes to order at Lyfe. The fresh fish,, Chayote slaw, avocado, cilantro, Chipotle ailoi and fresh salsa make these extra special.

The roasted  brussel sprouts with squash and cranberries is a dish that is so tasty that I have to have it no matter what I order.

I highly recommend the lyfe waters, which are fruit infused drinks like the one pictured above. This drink is a hibiscus tea infused with beet, apple, lemon and ginger. The perfect complement to a meal full of fresh and colorful veggies. Be sure to try the equally delicious ginger pomegranate lemonade.

The vibe is casual with ample seating indoors and outdoors. The prices are moderately higher than what you would pay at a fast food restaurant, but your body will thank you for it. Eat healthy and enjoy Lyfe:-)

White and Minty

Hey Loves! Well, summer is long gone, but not the beautiful memories, popsicles, ice cream cones, amd the vibrant color. Mint green is one of those colors that brings to mind spring and summer, but is is a beautiful color that can be worn all year long. I am wearing white pants and I really don't care about that stupid fashion rule about not wearing white after Labor Day. Who makes these silly rules anyway?

Cardigan: Private Boutique, Top Zara: Shoes: Private Boutqiue Bag: Max New York, Bracelet: F-21, Photography: Stacey Gutierrez

The hidden platform on these shoes makes them very comfortable. I have been able to walk in these without my feet hurting. I often keep a pair of ballet slippers or flats in my purse to put on in case my feet hurt and with certain shoes, I have no shame in swapping them out for a ballerina slipper because walking like your feet hurt is not cute. Right?

I think mint pairs well with many colors, but I love how fresh it looks against white, taupe or tan. It looks awesome with gray too. What are your favorite colors to wear mint with?

On a beautiful day I love to kick back and enjoy the sunshine. Even the worst day is made better by beautiful sunshine, open air and a refreshing drink, or time spent in quiet meditation

Have an amazing day!
